The Day 2 of the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup quarter-finals will begin tomorrow. TNT Tropang Giga and San Miguel Beermen will take advantage of their twice-to-beat advantage. Converge Fiberxers and Blackwater Bossing however want to live another day hoping for a semis spot.
After finishing the eliminations at the top two pots, San Miguel and the Tnt secured a twice-to-beat advantage. Blackwater and the Converge however finished tops seven and eight. If they want to enter the eliminations, they need to beat San Miguel and Tnt twice.

Tnt did not have a good start when PBA starts not until the arrival of Mikey Williams. Mikey Williams has been a game changer for the Tropang Giga for the past conferences.
During the eliminations, Tnt managed to escape from Converge after a winning play from Jayson Castro. It was a close game because before Castro made his game-winning shot, RK Ilagan from Converge made a heroic shot once again.
Converge is a young team. In fact, this season is their team’s rookie season in the PBA. Most of their players were young or rookies from this year’s batch of rookies, but reaching the quarter-finals this early is already a good start for them.

During the eliminations, San Miguel was able to beat Blackwater by three points, but will they be able to pull off another win from Blackwater?
Currently, two of San Miguel’s players are in the top two race for the Best Player of the Conference, with that having said, we know that this will be tough for Blackwater. But Blackwater is determined to prove that they cannot be outcaste for the semis spot.
Blackwater is in fact a surprise this conference after grabbing the record of PBA’s longest losing streak. Now, they were able to play very well and surprised other teams.
