Troyes and Nantes are two teams who are hopeful to finally end their winless runs in the Ligue 1, as they resume their campaign after the World Cup. These two teams only have one points and two places separating them in the league table. However, Troyes might have a hard time for this match since they have not won a domestic affair since September. Nantes on the other hand had their last win in October. Troyes will welcome Nantes on December 28, 2022, at 10:00 PM (GMT+8).

During their last 24 matches, it was Nantes who holds the advantage as they have a 13 wins from those 24 matches. The hosts on the other hand managed to pick up only seven wins, while the remaining four games ended in draw. Moreover, they had three draws, and a win, and a loss from those five games. They have not won any away games in the contest, and they are the only team who does not have a win on the road. Their current record in the league is not good, so they will still try to win their remaining matches.

Charles Traore, Denis Petric, and Fabio are all out due to their injuries.
