Tips to Win at Caribbean Stud Poker

Caribbean Stud Poker is similar to Hold’em, Omaha Stud, and Five Card Draw. If you have played these games before, this game should be good to go as the rules are quite simple. The winning hands also rank from a high card (lowest) to a royal flush (highest). The game is played against the house, with the goal to beat the dealer, hence there can be more people to play on the table simultaneously.

How To Play

Same with the other games, players have to place a bet (Ante bet) to start the game.  In Live Caribbean Stud Poker, each player is dealt five cards face up and the dealer also gets five cards with only one face up. At this stage, you must choose whether to play or to fold the cards. To play, you need to make another bet (Call), which is double of the Ante. Otherwise you will lose your ante and side bet (if made). Also, the system will automatically fold your card if no action is taken after the given betting times.

After that, the dealer will reveal their cards to see if it is a qualifying hand. To qualify, they must have at least Ace-King high. If the dealer wins, both ante and raise (Call) bets will be taken. Or else, the player is paid 1 to 1 on the ante bet if you win. Both ante and raise will push if both player and dealer are tied. Besides, a bonus bet can be made in Caribbean Stud. Most casinos offer a progressive jackpot with 100% payout when a player gets a royal flush. However, different casinos have different payouts on the side and raise bets.
