But, that’s not it, as this team have a lot to be proud of this season. This season has been almost perfect for them, with just one loss across their name. During the last season, it was T1 who took home the title without any loss on their record. However, the squad disappointed their fans with their performance in the MSI.
The team went home earning the second place in MSI, but the team looked forward to winning more games and came back to the Korean league stronger as ever. Despite an underwhelming performance during the MSI, T1 managed to surprise their fans after two strong wins at the start of this season. This proves that the team is still the strongest team in the LCK. They made no changes on their line-up this season.
Although many expect T1 to be the champs, there are two teams who could pull off a surprise this season-Gen.G and Kwangdong Freecs.
Gen. G
Gen.G is the number one competitor of T1 in the league, may it be in the title or in the league standings. Just like T1, they did not make any changes for their line-up this season. They also have a flawless run just like T1, but the opponent is stronger than them. However, they gave T1 a hard time climbing to the top one of the standings. This just proves that Gen.G has a lot to offer, and the fact that they have been on the second spot all the time is a reason for them to be more hungry to win the title.
Kwangdong Freecs
As the only team who was able to beat T1, they surely have a statement to make. Unlike the two previous squad, this team has four new players on their roster. These additional player have continuously made changes for the team. The fact that they were able to beat the top one, it just proves that Kwangdong Freecs has something to offer.
