Costa Rica’s journey to the World Cup is not east as they finished in the fourth place of CONCACAF, their qualification campaign. Luckily, they managed to defeat New Zealand in a very crucial game, giving them a spot in the World Cup. They actually have a very colorful campaign in the World Cup. They managed to reach the Finals in 1990, and reached the Round of 16 in 2002 and 2006. On their last match against Nigeria, they were able to pull off a 2-0 victory. As they open their campaign, they hope that they could pull off a victory on their first game.
