This year’s LPL Summer League went through ups and downs. Covid-19 continuously bring uncertainties for the league, who is now allowing fans to watch live games. Despite the continuous rise of Covid-19 cases, the show must still go-on for the league, and the fans are excited about it.
RNG is the top favorite to win this year’s LPL Summer League. Since then, this team have been nothing but competitive during their games. They were able to prove to their fans that they can come far. During the off-season, the team managed to trade players and have new recruits that will boost more the morale of this team.
During the off-season, RNG represented LPL for the MSI 2022, but because of Covid-19, they were not able to play live. Instead, the team participated remotely as well as the other teams. RNG participated in the three of the last four MSIs, where only champions of the other leagues can represent. With that being said, it is clear how powerful RNG is for representing three out of four MSIs.
Meanwhile, JD Gaming also managed to be exceed everyone’s expectation. They were able to be a threat to any other teams.
Although this team did not make any changes during the off-season, they managed to pull-off a statement. JD Gaming is one of the biggest surprises this season, and the fact that they used the same roster exceeded the fan’s expectation. This team is now looking to enter the playoffs for the second time, and is hoping to finish in the top two.
