Leicester hosts Nottingham Forest in their match on October 4, 2022 at 3:00 AM (GMT+8). The hosts are actually worse than their opponents as they were not able to register a single win in the league. They lost to six matches and drawn one of their last seven games so far. Last season, Leicester is also not in a good shape because even if they finished eight, their defense is horrible. On the other hand, the visitors are no better because although they already had a win, their experience is not enough. They need to gain more experiences to gain a top-level competitiveness. For the past 23 seasons, this club is at the lower level of English football. Although they are still at the bottom, this team wants to start improving through this match.

Leicester City is one of the worst teams this season because of their record, they are actually the most bottom of the standings. And because of that, their current team manager is on the edge of being fired. They actually have no chance of making their squad stronger after having a very quiet transfer window. On their match against Tottenham, they gave their opponent a decent run, but when the opponent scored a goal, no answer was made. Leicester are now suffering with six consecutive defeats, and four winless home games since 2001-02.

Wilfred Nadidi and Dennis Praet are both having minor fitness concerns after the international break. However, they are confident that these two will suit up for their match against Nottingham. Ricardo Pereira and Ryan Bertrand on the other hand remains out for this squad as they are expected to be out for a long-term.

Nottingham is no better than their opponent as they are just above Leicester in the league table. The difference is that, they were able to recruit some during the summer window but was not able to get the results they wanted. Defense have always been the problem for Nottingham, the main reason why they cannot have good games. This squad is currently on a four-game losing streak, just three points better than Leicester. On their four defeats, they already conceded 14 goals. During these two clubs’ meeting, Nottingham took home the victory.

Knee injury might keep Scott McKenna in this contest, the same reason he withdrew from Scotland. Luckily, Joe Worrall is just in-time for this squad as he fully recovered from his nose injury.
