Grizzlies on the other hand are looking to halt their losing streak, as they are in a two-game losing streak. They are currently in a four-game road trip, which started with a win against the Rockets. However, they dropped their matches against the Nuggets and the Clippers, which is why they are hopeful for a win here. On their match against the Clippers, they blew a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter. That loss is actually a disappointing loss, as they dropped 50 points in the third quarter alone. However, they still lost that match, failing to protect their lead. It was Desmond Bane who led the Grizzlies on that match, chipping in 30 points and six assists. Offensively, they are the ninth with 115.8 points per game, and the sixth in defense, allowing 112 points per game.

Ja Morant, who leads this squad with 27.1 points per game remains to be suspended, following the controversy he is facing.
