It is no longer a surprise that Gavi is indeed the future for Barcelona, considering the way he carry his team. On their match against Osasuna, he started that match as the fourth midfielder, and worked hard not to give the ball away. In fact, that match is not as smooth, as Gavi needs to get a few stitches in his ear, after he received a slap from Ruben Garcia. However, he did not back down, and still continued the game, despite the stitches on his ear. That match against Osasuna is not a comfortable win for them, as Osasuna was a very conditioned team on that match. Nonetheless, Barcelona were still able to pull off a win, on a historic and important night for Gavi. Aside from a historic night for them, this win is also important one, as it improved their place in the league table.

Ever since Gavi joined Barcelona in 2021, he already had 59 wins, 20 draws, and 21 losses, contributing six goals, and 13 assists. Although his goals is not as many yet, these numbers are already impressive, for a young man like him. In 79 of his 100 games with his team, he was able to start, proving how important his role is for Barcelona. During the 2023 Super Cup, he became the youngest player in this century to score and assist against Real Madrid in the same match. Gavi is also the second youngest player to reach 50 appearances for his team in La Liga, next to Iker Muniain. These records alone proved that Gavi is a very special player, as he have shown maturity, and winning mindset, no matter how young he is.
