Celtics, seek for wins vs Bulls

The Boston Celtics is a team continuously struggle this season, as they try to earn more wins when they face the Chicago Bulls. The Celtics and the Bulls face each other on November 4, 2022, at 7:30 AM (GMT+8) with the Bulls travelling to Boston. As a squad who are runners-up last season, Celtics’ current performance is quite disappointing since they are having a hard time earning wins. As for the Bulls, they seek for their third consecutive win in their match against the Celtics.

The hosts are not having a luck recently, as they lost against the Cavaliers in an overtime game with a score of 114-113. It was a close game but at the end, the efforts of the Celtics are not good enough to win that match. That loss is their third loss in their last four games, so going into this match, they are hoping to finally record a win. As for the visitors, they are currently in a two-game winning streak, and are hopeful to extend it in this game. They had a back-to-back win, and on their last game, they had a dominating win against the Hornets. Additionally, six players on their squad scored double digits on that match.

As a team who became runners-up last season, Celtics’ are quite disappointing this season, following their consecutive defeats. They dropped three of their last four matches, making them the 5th in the Eastern Conference. The absence of their head coach is indeed a huge loss for them as they need to adjust to new system once again. However, they need to continue playing and winning in order for them to move forward the standings. Offensively, this team averaged 116.1 points per game on a 46.8% shooting, which means they are doing well offensively. However, defense have been their problem as they give up 112.2 points per game, 19th in the league. Beyond the arc, the Celtics allow their opponents to score there a lot of times, giving a 46% in the three point line.

It is no surprising that Jayson Tatum leads the Celtics, averaging 30.1 points per game on a 52.9% shooting. However, he also gets contributions from Jaylen Brown and other members of their squad. The Celtics will be without Robert Williams III as he is out due to his knee injury.

The Bulls are quite a surprise this season as they were able to start strong this season, putting them in the 6th of the Eastern Conference. They already won back-to-back games and if they want to continue moving forward, they need to pick up more wins, starting in this match. They already met the Celtics this season and won against them. As they meet once again, they are hoping for the same result and maximize their advantage against their opponent. In the offense, they are 22nd in the league, averaging 111.4 points per game, 44.9% in the field. As for their defense, they are really doing well in that field, giving up 108.2 points per game, the 5th best in the NBA.

Guys like DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine continue to lead the Bulls, and are currently the key to the success of their team. However, there are also number of key players who will not participate in this game because of their injuries. Coby White and Andre Drummond are questionable in this game while Lonzo Ball is a sure absentee.
