The Celtics are a win away from creating history as the only team who were able to climb back from being down by three games. The Heat on the other hand can no longer afford to blow their chances, as they are back to square one. In Game 6, the Celtics were able to win through a buzzer beater by Derrick White. The Heat are actually three-games ahead in the series, and are a win away from the Eastern Conference title. Now that the Celtics were able to make their comeback, they are hoping to succeed in stealing the title from the Heat. The Celtics are just a win away from making history as the first team in the NBA who successfully won their series after trailing to 3-0. The Celtics are looking to be a very strong team on their last three games, enabling them to win those matches. In Game 6, the Heat almost got the title, but Derrick White had the match of his life. He was able to put back Marcus Smart’s miss with less than a second left, forcing a Game 7. White earned praises from Jaylen Brown, saying he is like a flash of lighting, saving the day for the Celtics. On that match, they were led by Jayson Tatum, who had a double-double performance with 30 points, and 12 rebounds, This is his fourth game with more than 30 points in their last six matches, leading the Celtics.

Aside from Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart are also providing numbers for the Celtics. They are with 22.8 and 15.2 points per game, helping the Celtics to secure the wins that they need. Malcolm Brogdon remains to be a doubt in this match due to an issue in his forearm, while Danilo Gallinari remains to be out.

The Heat has had many chances on their last three matches, needing only one win to get the Eastern Conference finals title. They blew up many chances, especially during the Game 6, where they are leading by a point in the final seconds. However, they were not able to secure the win because of a follow up from Derrick White. In fact, Duncan Robinson had two three pointers that could have clinched the game, but they allowed White to do a follow-up. Despite making 14 threes in Game 6, those three-pointers were not enough for them to win. Due to this loss, they are now back with having no advantage as they will now play in Game 7. Heat are avoiding to become the only team to lose a series, after having a 3-0 advantage.

Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo are the leaders for the Heat with 28.5 and 17.1 points per game respectively. Victor Oladipo remains to be unavailable for this important match, especially that he has no timetable for his return. Tyler Herro on the other hand is unlikely to play here, although he was cleared to resume non-contact basketball workout. Gabe Vincent on the other hand is questionable in this match due to an ankle sprain.
